Nadine Promes García is a sequential artist born in Maracaibo, Venezuela whose love for storytelling goes beyond genre and age demographic.

 

Having been raised to pursue a future outside her broken country has caused Nadine to have a dissociated view on her cultural identity and sense of belonging. On the other hand, this cultural freedom has allowed her to empathize with others deeply.

 

Within her art, Nadine explores Venezuelan folklore and history as a means to reconcile with her own roots, as well as more philosophical themes such as feminism, gender and how the many branches of science relate to today’s modern world.
